I wanted to make the cheapest, easiest furniture I could possibly make,” he said. “Then I was sort of questioning who is that 99%? If it’s not good enough for my family, then what am I doing?”
“If the angles are right, you don’t need cushioning,” he said. “If the angles are off, it doesn’t matter how many cushions you put on something - it will never be comfortable.”
